Heritage variety. A flavorful beefsteak tomato rarely found among hobby growers.Heritage. From 1885. One of the most flavorful older varieties. Large, pink, flat-round fruits weighing 200-400 grams, fully colored with a rich, wonderful taste. Suitable for greenhouses and warm outdoor locations. An amateur variety.
Cultivation from seed:
Start indoors in pots from February to April. Fill the pots with 2/3 potting soil and 1/3 seed compost on top. Keep the seedlings at 22-25°C, and after germination, maintain at 18-20°C with as much light as possible. Transplant after hardening off in a greenhouse or warm outdoor location once the risk of frost has passed. Stake the plants. Remove side shoots.
