This edc pocket pliers is great because it doesn't have a knife blade which is illegal to carry in our daily situations. A special reasonable purpose is needed to legally carry a knife. Policemen don't care about pliers. The quality of this mini salor pliers is far better than i expected and apparently great for its price. I have used a us-made pocket knife for 10 years, but even this expensive knife was broken suddenly in a leather case and its scissors don't work correctly any more. So i bought the mini salor. Hope it works fine for the next 10 years.
I bought one to try it out and it was really good for the price, so I bought several to gift to friends nearby. I only carried around one silver one, but I felt bad about giving away the black ones, so I bought another one. This one has some improvements compared to the one I bought before. The driver part that had a bit of play when folded now has almost no play at all. I'm even more satisfied. I also have Leatherman and Victoryinox EDCs, but I'm much more satisfied with the Mini Flagship. Highly recommended!!!
NexTool Mini Flagship Silver is generally of good quality, weighs 81 g and unfolds well. The scissors cut better than in pocket knives, although they are not very comfortable for prolonged use as they start to dig into the hand. Mine has a deformed (uneven) surface at the end of one arm of the pliers. I reported this to the seller and quickly received a response stating that it is a result of the molding process, which can be more or less visible in different pieces and cannot be controlled.
The xacto knife function is the main feature and works well, the blade locking mechanism is simple but looks sturdy.
It's certainly a unique multitool with the feature.
The only con i have to say is the screw bit, as it is not traditional shaped commonly replaceable bits (this one is flattened).
It also features a double hinged scissor mechanism, which unfolds into a larger than your typical sized multitool scissors, neat!
New product in perfect condition, according to its description. Original product from the brand and of great quality. Everything is well sealed. I haven't tried it yet because it's a Christmas gift. I will expand the review with images of the tool in operation later. Fast shipping in a cardboard box with bubble wrap.
