It's not one of the fastest deliveries, but it still arrived. I liked the large magnesium rod and decided that it was worth getting and testing it. I haven't found the time yet, but I will soon. Good and comprehensive package, although I don't need it myself. I hope it will meet my expectations for long-term use. I have a few more magnesium lighters and will be able to compare them with the ones I have.
Strongly recommend. Delivered on time. Has very good strong spark and very steeds. Good for outdoor or camping bags. Compass is very accessible and accurate. Strings can be used for emergency rope and whesse is very loud. Try to clean off the protective layer on the top and use the side tool in rectangular shape that comes with to scrape off little and after a good rub works like real gas lighter
It's cool, whistle and the flint is working, but unfortunately the compass arrived broken, it won't provide any reading, it's either broken from shaking or if it had liquid that got lost or something, a few times i got it to make a reading for a split second, but now i can no longer achieve even that, i'll have to order seperate compass.
I ordered two sets, one arrived OK, but the second was missing several items: a chair, a whistle, and a carabiner.
I'm not complaining because the clay itself is OK, but I paid for the shipping and there is no refund option.
However, the flint rod is specific and produces decent sparks; it will definitely last a long time.
This tool is great for people who want to go camping or just out in the wild and it is always going to work properly due to how and what it is made from. i love having this flint stryker in my bags as a back up plan for creating a fire anywhere i go!
