Growing from seed:
Sow directly outdoors as soon as the soil is workable or in late autumn for an early spring harvest. Water the soil before sowing and keep it moist during germination. Sow and harvest continuously throughout the season. Sow very sparsely to avoid the need for thinning. Grows best in humus-rich sandy soil. Cover with garden fleece to protect against pests. Rotate the growing location each year.
