Cucumis sativus (Gherkin group)Parthenocarpic. Excellent for pickling as cornichons (small gherkins) or traditionally in brine or vinegar. An early, high-yielding, and disease-resistant variety, especially suitable for Nordic climates.
Growing from seed:
Start indoors in potting soil. Keep at approximately 25°C (77°F); after germination, reduce to 16-20°C (61-68°F). Transplant outdoors after hardening off when the risk of frost has passed. Can also be sown directly in open ground once the soil has warmed to around 15°C (59°F). Cover with garden fleece if possible. Suitable for warm outdoor locations or greenhouse cultivation. Harvest continuously.
